WHO WE ARE

This website http://intrawelt.com is property of the company Intrawelt S.a.s.

The undersigned company would like to specify that this policy is addressed to our potential, current and former clients and contains information relating to how your data is processed.

As your future, current or previous provider, the company is responsible for processing your personal data and deciding the purpose and methods of such processing and is therefore a data controller as defined in the “General Data Protection Regulation” 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

SUBJECT OF THE DATA PROCESSING

The undersigned company, as Data Controller, processes:

A) Personal data identifying you, communicated through the forms available on the site http://www.intrawelt.com when requesting quotes and in the subsequent phases of the translation/interpreting process, for example:

  • your identification and contact information (as a Company);
  • the contact information of your organisation’s contact person (such as name, phone number, email);
  • your financial data (such as bank account details);
  • more generally, information needed in order to complete the translation and interpreting process.

B) Personal details – including data which our company can also incidentally become aware of during the translation/interpreting process, and in any case, exclusively communicated by you (such as trade-union membership, data concerning health or other special data directly or indirectly derived, in addition to criminal convictions and offences or relative security measures).

DATA COLLECTION

All the information is provided exclusively by you.

METHODS AND PURPOSES OF THE DATA PROCESSING

We would like to inform you that the data will be processed with the aid of paper, computer and/or electronic media.
We process your personal data for the translation and/or interpreting activity based on quotations and orders.

The personal data collected through the forms available on the site http://www.intrawelt.com will be processed to pursue the purposes of sales promotion, advertising, market research, other sample marketing research related to products and/or services relative to the company within the limits indicated by EU Regulation 2016/679 and within the meaning of the General Provisions of the Data Protection Authority of 15 May 2013 entitled “Consent to the processing of personal data for the purpose of ‘direct marketing’ through traditional and automated contact instruments”.

LEGAL BASIS

We process your personal data only if such processing is necessary:

  • to fulfil our contractual obligations to you;
  • for marketing purposes;
  • for our legitimate interests (when they are not in contrast with your rights and fundamental freedoms), for example in order to manage the activities you have performed for our services; prevent fraud or criminal activity, misuse of our services, as well as the security of our information, architecture and network systems to meet our social responsibility and corporate objectives.

We will not process your personal data unless the needs listed above apply.

CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS

Notwithstanding communications carried out to fulfil legal and contractual obligations, all the data collected and processed can be communicated solely for the purposes specified above to our employees, insurance companies, credit institutions and any third party to whom we assign or transfer any of our rights or obligations, as always within the limits of the purposes of the processing.

Your personal data will be managed and stored on servers located within the European Union and belonging to the Data Controller and/or third-party companies appointed and duly identified as Data Processors. The servers are currently located in Italy.

Your data will not be transferred outside the European Union; translators will receive documents in anonymous form.

It remains understood that the Data Controller, if necessary, will have the right to transfer the servers’ location within Italy and/or the European Union and/or non-EU countries. In this case, the Data Controller guarantees from this moment that the transfer of the data outside the European Union will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions by stipulating, if necessary, agreements which guarantee an adequate level of protection and/or by adopting the standard contractual clauses provided by the European Commission.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You may exercise your rights regarding your personal data provided for in Articles:

    • 15 – “Right of access by the data subject”;
    • 16 – “Right to rectification”;
    • 17 – “Right to erasure”;
    • 18 – “Right to restriction of processing”;
    • 20 – “Right to data portability”

of the “General Data Protection Regulation” 2016/679 (“GDPR”) within the limits and under the conditions provided for by Art. 12 of the same Regulation.

If you intend to exercise one of the rights referred to above, you can send a communication addressed to the undersigned company to the email address: privacy@intrawelt.com, indicating “Privacy” in the subject.

You also have a right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority for data protection in your country.

RETENTION PERIOD

All the data above and the other constituents of the contract will also be retained after the conclusion of the same in order to fulfil all the possible obligations connected to or arising from the conclusion of the same contract for 10 years, and in any case not before the terms established by Law.

DATA CONTROLLER

The Data Controller of your Personal Data is the Legal Representative of the undersigned Company.

 

WHICH DATA DO WE COLLECT AND WHY?

 

COMMENTS

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data displayed in the comments form in addition to the IP address of the visitor and the string of the user agent of the browser in order to support spam identification.

An anonymous string created using your email address (hash) may be supplied to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Following approval of your comment, your profile image will be visible to the public alongside the comment.

MEDIA

If uploading images onto the website, you should avoid uploading images which include location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

If you leave a comment, the comment and relative metadata are stored permanently. This allows us to automatically recognise and approve any future comments instead of keeping them in a queue for the moderator.
